Since I built a great relationsship with my suppliers, I thought:

“Why not ask them for the winning products of last year?”

And since they trusted me to most efficiently convert this information into the most sales, two of my suppliers agreed.

BUT! We all both verbalized, that we don’t want to spy on currently selling products. I myself don’t want my currently hard selling products to be leaked.

Some bad apples will always exist, but this is just part of the game.

And one more thing, before I reveal those products… Oftentime a last years winner is already too saturated. I see myself most consistently winning wit products that showed already demand, but hasn’t experienced the swath of dropshippers selling it simultaneously. Because most products are seasonal, since brands mostly sell non-seasonal products with more predictable revenue. This is our chance! But it can be still a great learning, analysis in post and maybe worth a shot.

Moving Shrimp Pet Toy

Some countries work excquisitly for pet products. This product you can buy with my supplier for ~5$ and then sell it on your website for ~40$ dollars. A great margin to cover you advertising cost. This shrimp can move it’s tail, which naturally stands in and ad and will entertain your customers pet. After doing some research, I couldn’t find a lot of creatives for this. If you have money you can now hire a UGC creator with a dog and get some fun content back. (Always also ask for the raw filming!)

If you want to do this on a budget, just go to the next shelter or offer to take your neighbors dog out for a walk. I for sure would love to see you.

Time to get pretty? I saw plenty of products like these that were printing money for online merchants. Tons of girls are influenced by Kylie Jenner style. And what to mix your products into their palette. This is also telling of your big advantage: This market already gets a handsome share of their wallet. And you just need to ask for trying your product too.

Specifically here I didn’t research further. But this is also a product my supplier confirmed to have been a major winner for some of his customers. So do look up who is currently selling it. Find video and photo creatives. Edit them into high quality assets thatt give vibes likes you are just buying from a multimillion dollar sought after brand.

My personal dropshipping strategy involves to get custom ads and invest more into each product then the small amount required for seeing if your ads stick. Per product I recommend having around 300-400$. With this money you can get two high quality video assets and test around 20 creatives before you determine if this product will print in your specific circumstance too. More budget friendly video creatives can be accessed through a beauty store next door. Think of how you can provide them value and get your video creatives? Shooting some content that the small shop eventually can use for themselves? Editing some other videos and photos? Teaching them something about ads? It’s yours to find out and experiment. This is JOY.

And before I forget it: rather ask somebody outside of your family! Your family members don’t take this as serious as you. They will just drain you of energy and not get you ahead. Because next time you need to make them a favor too and you suddenly you see yourself at the most unneccesary event because you want to return a favor. And then 20 years later you will die because just this and that little thing compounded into not getting you ahead.

Who haven’t heard about the all popular brand HiSmile? Approaching 500m revenue for 2024, this brand skyrocketed from nowhere. And it still offers you space to enter. Either new people wanting to try this product out or other users, that want to try a different brand.

Creatives are plenty available. The most important part is to now script high performing scripts that rivett your customers attention and guide them through the checkout.
